What Is the BodyTite Procedure?

After considerable effort, it’s only natural to want a shapely figure BodyTite Michigan that reflects your hard work and dedication to your health. However, for many women and men, diet-and-exercise-resistant fat can linger and get in the way of their aesthetic goals. Not only can this be frustrating to live with, but it can ultimately affect your self-esteem.

Fortunately, Michigan Center for Cosmetic Services offers a variety of body contouring options available to put the finishing touches on your nutrition and fitness regime, and help you attain the toned, attractive shape you’ve worked so hard to achieve.

If you are seeking a minimally-invasive way to eliminate fat, tighten skin and improve the appearance of cellulite, BodyTite may be your ideal solution.

What Is BodyTite?

BodyTite is minimally-invasive body contouring and skin tightening system. This FDA-approved procedure uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to liquify and gently remove targeted areas of unwanted fat while simultaneously tightening the skin. BodyTite provides exceptional results without the risks, scars, or downtime associated with surgery. BodyTite can effectively treat almost any area of the body, including:

  • Abdomen
  • Hips
  • Waist
  • Thighs
  • Knees
  • Arms
  • Elbows
  • Back
  • Chest
  • Breasts
  • Buttocks

During your initial consultation with board-certified cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jessica West, she will assess your physical condition and desired outcome. She will explain all of your body contouring treatment options and recommend the treatment or procedure that is best for you.

The BodyTite Procedure

BodyTite is an outpatient procedure that can be performed in our office, or at a local surgery center as part of a more extensive liposuction procedure. During treatment, a narrow tube called a cannula is inserted beneath the skin through very small incisions. An electrode on the tip of the cannula and emits radiofrequency energy. This energy simultaneously melts fat while tightening the skin. The melted fat cells are then suctioned out through the cannula.

It is normal to experience some soreness and swelling after treatment. Avoid strenuous exercise and vigorous activities for the 2-3 weeks after your procedure. Most patients are able to resume gentle activities the day after treatment, and exercise after a couple weeks.

Advantages of BodyTite

BodyTite offers patients an array of unique advantages, including:

  • Elimination of stubborn fat
  • Skin tightening
  • Improved cellulite
  • Minimal downtime
  • No hospital stay
  • Long-lasting results
  • Tiny incisions

Once fat has been reduced with the BodyTite procedure, it is permanently reduced. However, future weight gain is still possible. You can maintain your results for years with a healthy, balanced diet and regular physical activity.
